Obtains or prepares food items requested by customers and perform duties assigned by the Deli/Hot Foods Manager. Unload products from trucks, stage stock in the back room, cooler and freezer. Date, weigh, package, price and sell product. Prepare, cook, slice and mix product. Prepare sandwiches, salads, pizza, sliced meats, cheeses, chicken, fish etc. Follow recipes to prepare and cook menu items. perform freshness checks, recondition product, rotate product. Use knives, cutters, slicers, fryers, ovens and stoves. Perform general cleaning functions while maintaining sanitation standards.
