Responsibilities Prepare a variety of fresh ingredients and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently. Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu options, and upselling additional items to enhance their experience. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, food prep areas, and dining spaces in compliance with food safety regulations. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while balancing registers at shift end. Assist with food handling tasks such as stocking supplies, bussing tables, and ensuring proper food storage procedures are followed. Support team members during busy periods by managing time effectively to ensure quick service and customer satisfaction. Skills Proven experience in food preparation or working in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy. Previous restaurant or café experience is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is essential.
