Responsible for ordering, preparing, cooking, and presenting an attractive display of food items for sale in a fast-paced environment. Ensures all food, food areas, utensils, and dishes are kept fresh, stocked, sanitized, clean, organized, and customer-ready.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
: Promote high customer and internal guest service standards through prompt, courteous, respectful service and behavior. Promote and maintain a clean, safe, organized, and healthy work environment for employees and guests at all times; promptly report all concerns to the supervisor. Provides a high standard of food service, ensuring that food items are handled in a safe and sanitary manner; adhering to safety standards/guidelines and health code regulations. Order, receive, prepare, and replenish the deli/drink bar and open-air cooler with portion control to maximize presentation, customer satisfaction, and sales while minimizing spoilage. Maintain food equipment, prep areas, and customer access areas clean, sanitized, and organized while rotating and replenishing food, condiments, and paper products. Communicate with food service vendors about ideas, inventory items, stock quantity—pricing, etc. Ensure proper operation of deli equipment, tools, and materials and that they are handled in a safe and sanitary manner. Develop and assist in maintaining a routine cleaning & and maintenance schedule related to the prep area, and equipment involved in the deli and drink bar areas. Comply with regulatory laws, employee handbook, department policy and procedures, and safety codes. Maintain strict personal hygiene and appearance standards. Travel/attend a tradeshow or other product promotion opportunities in person and/or virtually. Performs other duties as assigned.PROMOTE WRC QUALITY SERVICE STANDARDS

Stock rooms, Inventory, POS, and inventory software and financial reporting.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
: Six (6) months of customer service experience. One (1) year of fresh food prep. Needs to Stand and/or walk for long periods; perform routine bending and lifting of product up to 20 lbs.; perform repetitive motions with arms, elbows, wrists, hands, and fingers; bend, lift, and maneuver up to 50 lbs. Requires strong communication skills including, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and work with others. Must possess excellent organizational skills, be a self-starter, and be able to perform essential job duties with minimal supervision, keeping all food/drink areas clean, stocked, and organized. Flexible to work schedules that include regular shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet the needs of the business. Must possess or obtain a Food Handler's certificate permit within 30 days of employment. Exhibits a professional demeanor through appearance/hygiene. Must be able to pass a criminal background check. Must be at least 18 years of age.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or GED. One (1) year of customer service experience. Three (3) years of food service experience in high volume deli restaurant/c-store/truck stop/travel center.DISCLAIMER
