Job Description
Job Overview Join our team at Jimmy John's as an In-Shop Sandwich Maker and Delivery Drivers needed. This role involves preparing delicious sandwiches in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent customer service. The position requires flexibility to work during weekends and nights, with opportunities for delivery driving responsibilities. Candidates must be reliable, friendly, and capable of multitasking to ensure a positive experience for our customers. All positions are paid and contribute to a dynamic team atmosphere. Duties Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to company standards and customer specifications Operate cash registers and POS systems efficiently, processing cash transactions accurately Handle basic math calculations for transactions and change management Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are met Provide friendly and prompt service to customers in person and over the counter Assist with delivery duties when needed, ensuring timely and safe delivery of orders during scheduled shifts Work during weekends and night shifts as required, demonstrating flexibility and reliability Skills Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and POS operations Experience with cash register operations and POS systems is preferred Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in a fast-paced environment Availability on weekends and nights is a must for this role Reliable transportation or willingness to serve as a delivery driver when needed Friendly attitude, teamwork orientation, and attention to detail This position offers an engaging work environment where you can develop your customer service skills while contributing to a popular local brand.
