Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused team member to join our toy store & ice cream shop. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service. Hours will vary and can be flexible (we are happy to work around a school schedule, other job, family responsibilities, etc.), but we prefer at least 10 hours of weekly availability Wednesday-Sunday. Preference will be given to candidates who are in Indiana over holidays and summer. Our summer hours are Wednesday-Thursday 10-5, Friday-Saturday 10-8:30, and Sunday 12-4. The schedule will change going into fall/winter. Consistent weekend availability is required for consideration. Starting wage is $10/hour plus tips. Duties Politely help customers to provide outstanding service. Take orders, scoop ice cream, and create sodas. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, ensuring accurate cash handling and cashiering duties. Assist with stocking shelves and merchandising products to create appealing displays that attract customers. Communicate effectively with team members and customers.
