Job Summary We're looking for a dependable, friendly, and hardworking Day Shift Team Member to join our Dairy Queen team. This position works primarily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and helps keep our restaurant running smoothly throughout the day. Team members will assist customers, prepare food and DQ treats, maintain a clean and organized work environment, and work alongside other employees to provide fast and friendly service. This is a great position for someone who enjoys staying busy, working with people, and being part of a team. Responsibilities Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service Take customer orders accurately at the counter and drive-thru Operate the register and handle cash and card transactions Prepare Blizzards®, cones, sundaes, shakes, and other DQ treats Prepare food items according to restaurant standards Assist with opening, daytime, and shift-change duties Keep counters, dining areas, kitchen areas, and workstations clean Restock cups, lids, ingredients, food products, and other supplies Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures Help maintain fast and accurate service during busy periods Work cooperatively with managers and other team members Complete cleaning and other assigned tasks throughout the shift Requirements Reliable availability for the 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM day shift Dependable transportation and consistent attendance Friendly and positive attitude Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work well as part of a team Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods Ability to safely lift and carry supplies as needed Willingness to learn multiple positions throughout the restaurant Previous restaurant or customer service experience is helpful, but not required — we are willing to train the right person We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, shows up ready to help, and enjoys providing customers with the great service and treats they expect from Dairy Queen.
