Leg Up Farmers Market is York's Largest Natural Grocery Store, which exists to support Leg Up Farm, a therapy center for children with special needs. Our Meat Department is responsible for providing delicious, local meat & sustainable seafood options to our customers. This department requires that you be comfortable handling raw meat and can learn the techniques required to prepare it. While professional experience is appreciated, we are open to teaching someone who is interested in learning. In addition to supporting the Meat Department, you will also assist in our Bulk Department, as our Meat Lead oversees the Bulk Department as well. That part of the position is mostly refilling bulk containers and of course cleaning them as necessary. The ideal schedule for this position is Tuesday & Thursday 7/8am

• 2/3pm, and Friday & Saturday 9/10am
• 4/5pm.

We will also consider Sundays instead of Saturdays, or a morning shift on Friday & the Weekend Day if necessary.

• Give every customer immediate and undivided attention
• Cut and prepare meat and seafood to our consistent standards

• Ensure freshness and quality standards are being upheld
• Keep department filled and maintained
• Keep all cases and shelves clean, well stocked and properly rotated
