The Role:
Act as a lead & instructor to crew members. Allocate & distribute work assignments to staff & QC that all work is completed to competent standards. Prioritize schedules to ensure office installations, event set-ups & furniture supplies
  • over various campuses, are completed in a timely manner. Responsible for overseeing the daily procedures and activities involved with executing all types of work. Organize staff schedules & timetables
  • assigning workloads. Prioritize work times to accommodate requisite appointments. Undertake training/education for all overseen staff as necessary. Ensuring all staff complete & maintain work related paperwork. Act as point of communication
  • between company, clients & staff.
Thorough understanding of the basic steps and principles of systems furniture installation. Establish and maintain a thorough understanding of installation documents, designs and plans. Ensure efficient & safe loading/unloading, transfer and staging of furniture. Ability to accurately communicate and execute with clients & the above. Develop and maintain a positive and productive working relationship with co-workers. Adhere to all company policies and procedures relating to both Management guidelines and Employee Manual.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; additional education in logistics, supply chain, or a related field is preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in freight coordination, logistics, or a similar role. Experience with managing a team preferred. Experience with modular furniture, especially "Teknion" and "Steelcase" preferred.

Conditions:
Full time, primarily Monday through Friday, overtime as necessary including nights and/or weekends. Must have transportation; open to travel to other campus locations Ability to lift to 50 pounds repeatedly.
