Dedicated to quality and building strong customer relationship. We are an upscale Italian deli, cafe and restaurant. Our business is growing and thriving and there is potential for higher pay as you learn, progress and show yourself an asset to our business. More hours also available to a motivated individua. Experience with deli slicer preferred. Fast paced environment, high quality customer service skills essential. knowledge of Italian product and cuisines plus! Days and some weekends needed 20-40 hours available. Can work with your schedule! Duties Prepare a variety of deli foods, including slicing meats, cheeses, salads, and hot foods, following established recipes and safety standards Assist customers with their selections, offering product recommendations and upselling items to enhance their experience Operate POS system accurately for sales transactions and cash handling Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the deli area, including food handling, bussing, and equipment cleaning Manage inventory levels, restock displays, and ensure proper food storage practices are followed Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a welcoming environment Support food safety protocols by adhering to sanitation guidelines and proper food handling procedures Requirements Prior experience in food preparation or working in a quick service or fast-food restaurant environment is preferred Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and measuring ingredients accurately Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and clear communication abilities Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform physical tasks involved in food prep Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures is essential please email or Message with you experience and availability.
