Full Job Description Chick-fil-A Role Description:
The Team Leader supports the Leader on Duty (LOD) by leading through example, coaching, and holding team members accountable to Chick-fil-A's culture and operational standards. This role ensures effective shift preparation, strong communication, and proactive problem-solving. Leaders in this position drive team success by fostering a positive work environment and maintaining high performance across all areas. Key Responsibilities Operational Excellence Ensure team members maintain established speed-of-service standards. Promote consistency in daily operational systems, particularly in the Back of House (BOH). Work collaboratively with the Front of House (FOH) and Delivery to ensure peak performance across all sales channels. Monitor and uphold cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards at all times. Perform and oversee Daily SAFE Critical and ERQA assessments. Coach SAFE standards and ensure BOH team members understand and adhere to Ecosure requirements. Following all operational procedures per the Pathway standards. Leadership & Accountability Lead by example, setting the tone for professionalism, work ethic, and a positive attitude. Provide clear direction and feedback to team members, ensuring accountability to daily expectations. Address and report violations of Chick-fil-A standards and Team Member Handbook policies. Act with urgency and accountability, helping to uphold the standard for work ethic and professionalism. Encourage and empower team members daily, fostering a culture of motivation and teamwork. Problem-Solving & Decision-Making Proactively identify and address challenges before they impact operations or guest experience. Make confident, well-informed decisions under pressure while keeping the team and business needs in mind.
