Position Summary:

The Line Cook / Concessions Worker at Penalty Box Bar & Grill is responsible for preparing and serving food quickly, safely, and efficiently in a fun, fast-paced sports venue. This team member ensures high food quality, cleanliness, and a friendly customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook menu items such as burgers, chicken tenders, fries, and other snacks for Penalty Box Bar & Grill patrons Operate fryers, grills, warmers, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Take customer orders and handle transactions using a point-of-sale (POS) system Maintain clean food prep and customer service areas at all times Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations Restock inventory and supplies including condiments, paper goods, and food items Rotate and label food products to reduce waste and ensure freshness Assist with opening and closing duties including cleaning equipment and stocking Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during events and peak hours

Qualifications:

Must be at least 16 years old (or meet facility's minimum age requirement) Previous food service or concession stand experience preferred Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment Friendly, dependable, and team-oriented Basic math skills for cash handling and POS transactions Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs

Work Environment:

Located in an active ice rink and sports venue Exposure to warm kitchen equipment and cold rink environments Loud, high-energy atmosphere during games, parties, and public events Shifts include evenings, weekends, and holidays
