Job description Petal Pickers Flower Co. is a cut flower farm in Piedmont, SC. At Petal Pickers we grow a wide variety of flowers for cut flower production. We are looking for Farm help! Job duties include seed starting, plug transplanting, watering plants, weeding the flowers, watering, flower harvesting, bouquet making, and other routine farm tasks. Seasonal Field Crew Team Member (Job Description) Looking to hire now. This position is seasonal part-time, with the possibility of year-round employment if the employee is excelling in this role. Students in ag-based programs are also encouraged to apply. Field Crew Team Members will be involved in, but not limited to, the following on the farm:

• Planting, cultivating, washing buckets, and harvesting flowers.
• Harvest will happen every morning throughout the busy season. After harvest, other field/farm tasks will be accomplished.
• This position may also include post-harvest handling/processing of flowers in workshop.

Qualifications:

• 1 season of farming or comparable Outdoor work experience.
• Prior experience in farming a plus
• Ability to work in Indoor/Outdoor Environment
• Rain or Shine/Warm or Cold Temperatures
• Ability to monitor quality control and work efficiently in fast-paced environment
• Valid driver's license needed Employee is responsible for housing, reliable transportation to farm, and appropriate farm clothes/raingear.

You will be expected to be punctual and show up to work as scheduled. Call-outs and No-Shows will not be tolerated if occurring on a regular basis.
