The Front of House Position at Tropical Grille is responsible for providing fast and friendly service to our guests while ensuring order accuracy and food quality. Candidates must be outgoing and enjoy interacting with the public. Pay is hourly plus tip share. Must be at least 16 years old. Responsibilities o Responsible for greeting customers and providing excellent customer service o Responsible for maintaining friendly/positive attitude o Responsible for thorough menu knowledge o Responsible for accurate order taking and cash handling o Responsible for preparing food accurately and maintaining food quality, consistency, and freshness o Responsible for proper food portioning with use of designated utensils o Responsible for checking all orders for accuracy and bagging to go orders o Responsible for stocking and cleaning assigned stations, as well as bathrooms, dining room, and lobby o Responsible for maintaining and cleaning equipment o Responsible for setting up dining room, line, and drive thru areas before open o Responsible for closing dining room, line, and drive thru areas, including following proper procedures for cooling hot foods for use the next day Environment o Setup and maintain sanitation buckets o Responsible for maintaining time and temperature logs o Fully clean and sanitize workstation, dining room, and restrooms as appropriate Policy Adherence o FOH position is responsible for adherence to all guidelines and procedures set forth by Tropical Grille, including but not limited to: § Adherence to DHEC and Tropical Grille rules and regulations § Adherence to Tropical Grille Recipes § Communicating with management if help is needed § Ensure proper rotation and labeling of food, FIFO § Any additional tasks assigned or asked by them of management Skills and Competencies o Sense Urgency and Speed o Muti-tasking skills, Organization, Attention to detail o Menu Knowledge o Ability to upsell o Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift 15-20lbs

Pay:

$12.00 - $13.00 per hour
