Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting their favorite ice cream flavors and toppings. Scoop ice cream accurately and efficiently, ensuring consistent portion sizes and presentation standards. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process sales transactions smoothly. Upsell additional items like cones, sundaes, or specialty toppings to enhance customer experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness of the workspace, including sanitizing equipment, counters, and dining areas to meet food safety standards. Handle cash register operations, process cash and card payments accurately, and give correct change. Restock supplies regularly, including napkins, cups, spoons, and toppings to ensure smooth daily operations. Requirements Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality service. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and positive energy. Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and follow food handling safety procedures. Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately. Experience working in quick service or fast food restaurants is advantageous. Commitment to maintaining a clean workspace through sanitation and organization practices.
