Albany Farms operates a food manufacturing facility in Belle Fourche, South Dakota, producing high-quality ramen noodles in a controlled production environment. Cleanliness and sanitation are critical to food safety, product quality, and keeping production running safely and efficiently. We are looking for dependable individuals who take pride in doing the job correctly, consistently, and thoroughly. This is a full-time, four-day workweek position , Monday through Thursday. Schedule Monday through Thursday 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM Four 10-hour shifts per week Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off This is a fixed schedule. Applicants must be able to consistently work the full scheduled shift. Position Overview The Sanitation Worker is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing production areas, equipment, food-contact surfaces, and facility spaces in accordance with established food safety and sanitation procedures. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Attention to detail matters. Proper sanitation directly affects food safety, product quality, regulatory compliance, and whether production can operate as scheduled. What You'll Do Clean and sanitize production lines, equipment, and food-contact surfaces Disassemble and reassemble equipment as required for thorough cleaning and sanitation Use approved cleaning chemicals, tools, and sanitation equipment safely and correctly Follow established Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures, SSOPs Follow Good Manufacturing Practices, GMPs, food safety requirements, and plant sanitation procedures Clean restrooms, break rooms, hallways, and other common areas as assigned Remove waste, debris, and production residue according to established procedures Assist with moving equipment or materials during sanitation activities Inspect work areas for cleanliness and sanitation concerns Identify and report maintenance issues, damaged equipment, safety hazards, or sanitation concerns Wear required PPE and food-production restraints at all times Support production or packaging operations when needed Participate in required safety, sanitation, and food safety training Perform additional plant-support duties as assigned

What We're Looking For Required:

Must be at least 18 years old Dependable attendance and punctuality Strong attention to detail Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Ability to follow established sanitation, safety, and food-safety procedures Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team Willingness to perform repetitive and physically demanding sanitation work Ability to consistently work Monday through Thursday from 6:00 AM to 4:30

PM Preferred:

Previous sanitation, janitorial, food-production, or manufacturing experience Experience using cleaning chemicals or industrial sanitation equipment Experience working in a food manufacturing environment Mechanical aptitude or experience working around production equipment Previous sanitation experience is helpful but is not required for dependable candidates who are willing to learn and follow established procedures. Physical Requirements This position requires regular physical activity throughout the workday, including: Standing and walking for most of a 10-hour shift Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and repetitive motion Regular use of hands for cleaning, handling tools, and working around equipment Ability to occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds Ability to work in warm and wet production environments Ability to work around water, cleaning chemicals, production equipment, and food-processing areas Reasonable accommodations may be made for qualified individuals with disabilities.
