Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team in a one of a kind entertainment environment for the summer. The ideal candidate will possess an interest in golf and have a passion for customer service, ensuring that every guest has an exceptional experience. As an X Golf Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving beverages, preparing small food items, assisting with golf simulators and providing excellent service in a fast-paced setting. The open position is a weekend only shift, 5pm - 11pm Friday and Saturday, Noon to 8pm Sunday. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests with precision and creativity. Maintain a clean and organized bar and kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards. Engage with customers to provide recommendations and ensure satisfaction. Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tabs. Uphold high standards of time management to ensure prompt service during busy periods, often alone. Prepare customer ordered food items in a timely manner and to quality and food safety standards. Food preparation and delivery is a small but important part of our operation. Engage and familiarize yourself with all aspects of the golf simulator software and hardware, be able to assist customers with issues and correct/repair simulator deficiencies. Experience Previous experience in the food service or retail industry is preferred. Familiarity with golf and golf technology is a plus. Strong basic math skills for handling cash register operations and sales transactions. Knowledge of, or possess trainability to follow food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Proven time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, with ability to prioritize. This position is part time, and seasonal, with the possibility of turning year round for the right candidate.
