Job Duties:

• Prepare food for service. This includes washing, peeling, cutting and preparing vegetables, fruit, meat and seafood; cutting vegetables to size; arranging them on the plate; and setting them for service.
• Assist other staff with kitchen duties such as cleaning, stock room maintenance and other duties as assigned.
• Keep the work area neat, clean and sanitized throughout the shift.
• Follow all health and safety regulations in the kitchen area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain safe food handling procedures.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen by washing dishes, cleaning utensils and cleaning walls/ceilings.
• Prepare food items such as sauces, soups and sandwiches for service in the restaurant.
• Follow all health and safety regulations in the restaurant.
• Maintain all sanitation procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to read and understand simple instructions.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to assist others with physical tasks.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and rules.
• Ability to deal with positive and negative situations quickly and effectively.
• Ability to communicate with co-workers in a professional manner at all times

Pay:

$12.00 - $13.00 per hour
