How you'll contribute A Food & Nutritional Services Worker who excels in this role: Assist with preparing meals, beverages, and snacks for hospital patients and employees. Support daily meal-service preparation and ensure food is ready accurately and on schedule. Prepare employee meal orders for pickup from the Dietary department. Stock food, beverages, supplies, and other kitchen items as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and food-preparation environment. Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and other food-service equipment. Follow established food-safety, sanitation, and department procedures. Assist team members throughout the department and perform a variety of food-service duties based on daily operational needs. Train across department functions to provide additional coverage as needed. Provide dependable coverage, including every other weekend and additional shifts for vacations, absences, and other department needs. What we're looking for Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Additional requirements include:
Ability to work every other weekend from 9:30 AM-6:00 PM. Flexibility to pick up additional shifts as department needs arise. Willingness to train for both the 9:30 AM-6:00 PM and 6:00 AM-2:30 PM shifts. Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic. Positive, kind, team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced food-service environment. Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment. Previous food-service and/or sanitation experience preferred, but not required. Previous cooking experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided. Stable work history preferred. Ability to complete required education and competency requirements within established timeframes.

Every other weekend (Sat & Sun) 9:30am
