About us Hounds Town Smyrna is a small business in Smyrna, TN 37167. We are engaging, supportive, fun and our goal is to provide for the dogs in our care that we love and make sure our employees are taken care of at the same time!
Our work environment includes:
On-the-job training Regular social events Growth opportunities Hounds Town is a fully interactive doggie daycare, pet spa, and boarding facility. All team members working in our facility will be trained on every aspect of our services and expected to follow our direction and processes as instructed. Kennel Assistant job duties include but are not limited to the following:
  • Perform all cleaning tasks in kennels, playrooms, lobby, and back of house areas.
  • Report to work on time.
  • Maintain a clean work uniform with a well-groomed appearance.
  • Maintain general safety procedures.
  • Ensure supervision of large groups of dogs.
  • Follow instruction and procedures.
  • Reliability is a must.
  • Holidays and weekends are required. Hours of operations for shift coverage include: We have two shifts per day and operating hours are as follows
  • 6:30am
  • 6:30pm M-F 7:00am-5pm Saturdays 9:00am
  • 2:00pm Sundays Kennel Assistants will work primarily back of house tending do the dogs in our care, and have very little interaction with the general public.
There is opportunity for more hours, promotion, and extra compensation on top of our hourly rates. We are looking for hardworking people that are punctual, loyal, dependable, and committed to dog safety. We promote from within and are always looking for those who have a passion for dogs and prove themselves hardworking and reliable.
Pay:
$13.00
