Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and process transactions efficiently Assist with food preparation tasks to ensure timely delivery of high-quality menu items Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and adhering to food safety protocols Handle cash and credit card payments responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling and register balancing Support food handling procedures, including proper storage, sanitation, and adherence to health regulations Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy periods Experience Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated newcomers eager to learn Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Experience in customer service roles within the food industry or retail environments will help you excel in this role Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and order calculations are essential Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures is highly valued Experience working in a café or grocery store setting can provide a strong foundation for success here Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours Join us and become part of a lively team dedicated to delivering exceptional service!
