As a Food Truck Team member, you will be responsible for preparing food, operating POS systems, managing customer orders, and maintaining a clean and efficient workspace. Responsibilities Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately, handle cash register operations, and manage retail transactions. Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner, taking orders, upselling menu items, and providing excellent service. Maintain a clean and organized workspace by sanitizing surfaces, properly storing ingredients, and adhering to sanitation regulations. Manage food handling procedures safely, including operating kitchen equipment like grills, fryers, and ovens while following food safety guidelines. Process cash transactions efficiently while accurately handling cash, credit card payments, and processing refunds or voids as needed. Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies, monitoring food levels, and reporting shortages promptly. Qualifications Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred; quick service or fast-food restaurant experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cashiering or retail sales transaction experience is advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods. Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently. Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively while maintaining cleanliness standards.
