Job Description
The Green Cart is a wholesale scratch kitchen in East Austin. We are growing, and we are looking for a cheerful, team-oriented person to join our kitchen family. We pride ourselves on a low-stress, immaculate work environment where quality and teamwork are our top priorities.
Our kitchen has English-speaking and Spanish-speaking cooks working side by side. If you can work in both languages you will be helping teammates and supervisors understand each other, and that is real work, so we pay for it. You do not need to be bilingual to work here- most of our team is not.
Portion ingredients: portion meats and salsas accurately so every sandwich comes out the same.
Pack orders: pack finished sandwiches into crates for each customer's order, checking quality and placement as you go.
Keep the kitchen clean: maintain a spotless station, wash dishes, and follow our HACCP food safety and cleaning standards.
SCHEDULEWe are hiring for one (1) part-time position, about 26 hours a week. The shift is 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

PAY:
$19.00 per hour to start, or $20.00 per hour if you are bilingual in English and Spanish.Our kitchen has English-speaking and Spanish-speaking cooks working side by side. WHAT YOU WILL
