Join the exciting team at Swedish Hill Cafe! We're seeking passionate Runners to be a part of our South Austin location in the vibrant Bouldin Creek neighborhood. Full time and part time positions available.
As a Runner, you will help guide guests through the dining experience. We have high expectations for hard work and attention to detail. Qualities we look for in this position include a genuine interest in food and beverage, the desire to create memorable experiences for our guests, and dedication to hard work.
Active TABC certification requiredExcellent customer service and people skills requiredStrong verbal and written communication skills are requiredMinimum of 1 year as food runner experience in a full-service restaurant preferredHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferredAbility to stay calm and work efficiently under pressureAbility to prioritize job duties and manage time effectively

Duties and Responsibilities Include:
Maintain standards of food and beverage quality and standards of serviceAnticipate and address guest needs and concernsCommunicate with other staff and management regarding the needs of guestsComplete all side work as assignedMaintain a clean and safe work environmentSupport other servers and kitchen staff in duties as requiredOther duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):Active TABC certification requiredExcellent customer service and people skills requiredStrong verbal and written communication skills are requiredMinimum of 1 year as food runner experience in a full-service restaurant preferredHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferredAbility to stay calm and work efficiently under pressureAbility to prioritize job duties and manage time effectively
