Forget everything you think you know about making pizza. As a Pizza Chef at Mister O1 you will be learning a trade skill that you cannot get anywhere else. We are looking for professional, hardworking individuals, which are team players, with attention to detail, the ability to learn quickly, take direction without question, accept feedback with grace and show grasp of the concepts in your results. Responsibilities Prepare high quality pizza following the recipes to the standards established by our master pizza chef. Preparation includes making pizza dough, stretching, and preparing crust, prepping of ingredients including meats, cheeses, and vegetables. Ensuring maintenance of workstations to food handler quality standards. Ensure all food product is stored and maintained at temperatures aligned with food handler quality standards. Requirements Previous kitchen and food handling experience highly desirable Have current, or ability to obtain Food Handler Certification within two weeks of hire High School Diploma or GED 18 years of age or older Eligible to work in the United States and all applicants are subject to our E-Verify processing Must have the ability to remain stationary in an upright position for a minimum of 50% of the time while preparing food Must be able to move around a busy kitchen and reach and bend as needed to operate various equipment Must have an elevated level of manual dexterity and strength in hands for dough handling and other food preparation Must be able to lift fifty pounds Must have the ability to listen to and communicate well with others Must not have any life-threatening allergies to dough or topping ingredients they will be handling Salary and Benefits $15 per hour (with opportunity to earn more) Flexible hours (Full Time and Part Time Employment) Training in skills you cannot get anywhere else Uniforms provided 20% Employee food discount Advancement opportunities
