Responsibilities Prepare fresh sandwiches and food items according to established recipes and customer preferences, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing sales, handling cash transactions, and managing retail sales transactions efficiently. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, take orders accurately, upsell menu items to enhance sales, and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit. Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation standards, food safety protocols, and proper food handling procedures. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including slicing tools, ovens, refrigerators, and other food preparation appliances. Manage food service customer order management by ensuring timely preparation and delivery of orders while keeping the workspace organized. Assist with inventory management, restocking supplies as needed, and ensuring all food safety regulations are followed diligently. Requirements Previous experience in food preparation or quick service & fast food restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash register operations experience is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining professionalism. Knowledge of food safety management, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately; retail sales or grocery store experience is advantageous.
