What You'll Do:
Cashier As a Cashier, you'll be the first point of contact for many of our guests, providing a warm welcome while ensuring an efficient and accurate ordering experience.
Responsibilities include:
Greet every guest with genuine Texas hospitality. Process cash, credit card, and electronic payments accurately. Enter customer orders into the POS system with speed and accuracy. Assist guests with menu selections by answering questions and making recommendations. Coordinate with the kitchen and service team to ensure timely order fulfillment. Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked register area. Support the team with additional duties as assigned by management. Meat Cutter Our Meat Cutters are at the heart of the Terry Black's experience, serving our signature smoked meats with precision, consistency, and pride.
Responsibilities include:
Slice and prepare brisket, ribs, turkey, sausage, and other smoked meats according to Terry Black's quality standards. Ensure accurate portioning while maintaining presentation and consistency. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health guidelines. Operate and maintain cutting equipment safely and efficiently. Communicate effectively with teammates to maintain a smooth service line. Engage with guests professionally while answering questions about our barbecue. Complete additional responsibilities as assigned by management. Line Server Our Line Servers help create an exceptional dining experience by delivering friendly, efficient service and beautifully presented meals.
Responsibilities include:
Serve hot and cold side dishes while maintaining consistent presentation standards. Develop a strong knowledge of our menu, meats, sides, desserts, and sauces. Assist guests by answering questions and making menu recommendations. Assemble customer trays accurately and efficiently. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized service line. Work collaboratively during busy service periods to provide fast and friendly service. Complete additional responsibilities as assigned by management. Floor Attendant Floor Attendants help create a clean, welcoming environment that keeps guests coming back.
Responsibilities include:
Maintain a clean and inviting dining room throughout service. Bus and sanitize tables promptly. Keep beverage stations, condiment areas, and dining spaces fully stocked and organized. Assist guests by responding quickly to requests and ensuring a positive dining experience. Monitor restaurant cleanliness and report maintenance concerns as needed. Support other Front of House positions during peak service. Complete additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
