Description & Essential Functions:

The Port Washington Saukville school district is looking for a friendly, energetic, customer service-driven individual who will support the cafeteria manager and other staff to provide a nutritious and enjoyable cafeteria experience.

Essential job functions include:

• Operate cash register, and lunch service computer systems as required
• Receive payment for cafeteria lunches
• Maintain a sanitary work area, i.e., clean counters, equipment, tray stations, etc.
• Must be able to lift 30 pounds
• Assist with restocking of beverages, condiments, and A la Carte items
• Follow proper collection procedures when/if lunch balance limits are exceeded
• Wash pots, pans, trays, utensils, and other food prep materials
• Maintain the serving area as needed with proper utensils, condiments, etc.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards
• Maintain respect at all times for coworkers, students, and staff
• Attend meetings and in-services as required
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Cook and/or Supervisor Qualifications Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
