Duties Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to company recipes and customer specifications with precision and speed Operate POS systems such as Toast POS to process sales accurately and efficiently Handle cash register operations, process retail sales transactions, and manage cash handling responsibilities with integrity Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the workspace, including food prep areas, equipment, and dining spaces in compliance with food safety standards Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly to assist in food preparation and ensure efficient workflow Manage food handling procedures responsibly while adhering to all health regulations and sanitation protocols Skills Proven experience in food preparation, quick service or fast-food restaurant environments, or retail food settings Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS for smooth transaction processing Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell products confidently and courteously Knowledge of food safety management practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain a clean work environment at all times Previous experience in café or grocery store environments is a plus but not required Join us as a Sandwich Artist where your energy fuels our team's success!
