Manage customer transactions at the cash register, including processing cash, credit card payments, and handling change with precision. Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities. Maintain a clean and organized workspace by bussing tables, sanitizing surfaces, and ensuring kitchen equipment is operating properly. Assist in food handling duties, including assembling orders, stocking supplies, and operating kitchen equipment safely. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders with enthusiasm, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring guests leave satisfied. Skills Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or quick-service restaurant environments. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks quickly during busy hours. Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales while maintaining excellent customer relations. Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitation standards to ensure a safe dining environment. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and processing transactions accurately. Experience operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
