Permanent Employment Benefits Help for . The purpose of this job is to lead a shift of team members in a Travel Center as well as to perform all position requirements for team members. Essential Functions
Process cash, credit, and debit transactions
Ensure quality service is delivered to every guest
Supervise and coach team members on shift; provide direction and take responsibility for team members work
Handle non-routine activities such as guest complaints, fuel spills, safety concerns, etc.
Use suggestive selling methods to promote and sell products
Ensure quality service is delivered to every guest
Contribute to the maintenance and cleaning of work area
Provide initial discipline with approval by General Manager
Complete end-of-the-day paperwork
Communicate any issues to the General Manager
Assist the General Manager in areas such as hiring, discipline, performance counseling, and termination
Perform other team member functions (e.g., cashier, maintenance, deli preparation, stocking, cleaning)
Ensure proper product stock levels to meet guest needs, food safety, and gross margin expectations
Model behaviors that support the companys common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level
Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
Complete other duties as assigned Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent certificate required
Minimum one year experience in a similar position preferred; a bachelors degree can be substituted for preferred supervisory experience
ServSafe certification required
