Permanent Employment Benefits Help for . Summary The purpose of this job is to process merchandise and fuel transactions. Essential Functions

Process cash, credit, and debit transactions

Ensure quality service is delivered to every guest

Complete end-of-shift reports and close out procedures

Follow company and local guidelines with regards to the sale of any restricted merchandise items (i.e., alcohol, tobacco)

Maintain an organized and clean work area

Use suggested selling methods to promote and sell products

Handle guest complaints and issues by following company processes and guidelines; resolve team member conflict; and communicate issues to management

Complete occasional Western Union transactions, customer refunds, and more complex transactions when managers are unavailable

Assist with other travel center functions such as maintaining deli, cleaning showers and restrooms, stocking, making coffee, etc.

Model behaviors that support the companys common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level

Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures

Complete other duties as assigned Qualifications

High school diploma or certificate equivalency preferred Specialized Knowledge

Exhibit a high degree of guest service and sales skills

Strong verbal communication skills

Flexibility; ability to adapt personal work style to situationalcircumstances

Perform basic retail math computations and calculations

Possess sufficient visual acuity to check identification and process all pay methods Travel
