Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservations using platforms like OpenTable, ensuring smooth seating flow. Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, processing sales transactions swiftly and accurately. Serve food and drinks with professionalism, including cocktail mixing, wine pouring, spirits service, and drink presentation in a fine dining or nightclub setting. Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest experience and increase sales while maintaining a friendly approach. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, handling food safely, and supporting food preparation when needed. Process cash transactions efficiently, handle cash handling duties responsibly, and balance registers at shift end. Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction. Requirements Previous experience in food service or hospitality environments such as restaurants, nightclubs, or fine dining establishments is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable; experience with beverage service including spirits, cocktails, wine knowledge, and drink presentation is essential. Demonstrated ability in customer service roles with excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately; familiarity with food safety standards and sanitation practices is required. Culinary or kitchen experience is a plus; knowledge of food handling and food industry operations will support your success in this role. Nightclub experience or event hosting background can be advantageous; previous host/hostess or cashiering roles are beneficial.
