Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service Excellence:

Deliver a friendly, welcoming experience to every guest with a smile, greeting them warmly, and helping them select their perfect treat.

Product Knowledge & Recommendations:

Assist customers with knowledgeable suggestions, including seasonal specials, best-sellers, and fun combinations. Offer guilt-free samples to ensure their perfect choice.

Scooping & Serving:

Scoop and serve ice cream, sundaes, milkshakes, and other desserts the "Snelgrove way," maintaining quality and consistency.

Cash & Card Transactions:

Process orders accurately and efficiently, including handling cash and card payments with care, and ensuring all transactions are completed properly.

Workstation & Guest Area Cleanliness:

Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation. Clean dipping cabinets, toppings bar, and guest areas to provide a pleasant environment.

Teamwork & Stocking:

Collaborate with team members to keep the store stocked with necessary supplies such as cups, cones, spoons, lids, and toppings. Assist with preparation of fresh novelties.

Dishes & General Maintenance:

Wash dishes, utensils, and other equipment as needed. Ensure the floors are mopped and tidy during shifts to maintain a safe and clean workspace.

Anticipate & Exceed Guest Expectations:

Stay attentive and proactive, anticipating guests' needs, ensuring their experience exceeds expectations, and making their visit memorable.

Qualifications:

At least 16 years of age

Positive & Upbeat Attitude:

A friendly demeanor and a love for helping people.

Customer-Oriented:

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and make customers feel special.

Team Player:

Ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 40 pounds, and perform physical tasks such as cleaning and stocking.

Dependable & Flexible:

Ability to commit to working frequent Fridays and Saturdays and remain reliable for your scheduled shifts.

Cash Handling Proficiency:

Comfortable counting money, making change, and using a point-of-sale system.

Language Skills:

Must be able to speak and read English fluently to communicate with customers and team members.

Cleanliness & Hygiene Focused:

Must be diligent about maintaining cleanliness standards and following food safety guidelines.
