Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with placing orders at the front counter or drive-thru. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order entry and payment processing. Handle cash register operations efficiently, including processing cash, credit/debit card transactions, and giving correct change. Manage food service customer orders by accurately entering orders into POS systems and coordinating with kitchen staff. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including food prep areas, counters, and dining spaces to ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met. Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities. Operate kitchen equipment safely when assisting with food preparation or food handling tasks as needed. Follow all food safety protocols, sanitation guidelines, and health regulations diligently. Support retail sales transactions by promoting products or specials to maximize revenue. Collaborate with team members to ensure quick service delivery during busy hours. Experience Prior experience in quick service or fast-food restaurant environments is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability in food preparation, food handling, or culinary roles is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in transaction management. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Previous retail sales or cashiering experience helps in delivering excellent customer service and upselling techniques. Basic math skills for cash handling, giving correct change, and processing transactions accurately. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and kitchen operations is advantageous.
