Duties Assist with food preparation, including chopping and assembling Support kitchen staff with cooking tasks, following established recipes and presentation standards Professionalism is utmost important and reliability and being punctual is a must Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including sanitizing work surfaces and equipment Handle food safely by adhering to proper storage, handling, and hygiene procedures Help with meal assembly and plating to ensure timely delivery of dishes in a fine dining setting Support catering events by preparing and serving food according to event specifications Follow all food safety regulations and restaurant policies to uphold high standards of quality and hygiene Complete closing shift tasks such as washing wiping and mopping kitchen area Requirements Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable Experience in food service, restaurant, or culinary environments preferred Knowledge of menu planning, food handling, and food safety protocols necessary for the role Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards learning new skills Prior experience in catering or fine dining environments is a plus Having a sense of urgency and be a fast learner.
