ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide friendly customer service Take and fulfill accurate special orders Quality Control Label items correctly Maintain a clean and tidy workspace and sales area Communicate effectively with coworkers Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences Other duties as assigned

Ability to communicate effectively with guests and all personnel Good oral and written communication skills Complete understanding of all safety requirements and policies Knowledge of perishable food Requires proper training and knowledge of the following equipment/procedures: slicers, baler, oven, fryer, stove top, rotisserie, etc. Must be able to work at a fast pace and multitask Must be self-motivated

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

Must be able to handle working at fast speeds Lifting up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis May be exposed to extreme temperatures

WORK SCHEDULE A

deli clerk may work a first or second shift, and is required to work at least every other weekend.
