QUALIFICATIONS

• Build a strong team environment while helping others

• Experience in moving, waste management, or deconstruction preferred
• Lift, bend, twist, and squat with up to 75 pounds

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with moving, removal, demolition and auction services.
• Lift and move heavy furniture and appliances up and down stairways.
• Follow direction and maintain a positive attitude
• Use and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with OSHA regulations
• Identify and load accordingly different materials such as MSW, SSR, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, donation items, resale items.
• Prevent items from going into landfill by recycling, donating, marking for resale, or safely disposing items as efficiently as possible
• Operate worksite equipment such as dollies, hand tools, and power tools safely and effectively.
• Operate a standard pickup truck and trailer safely and efficiently and obey all state and federal laws.
• Differentiate between different grades of metals such as #1 copper wire, cast aluminum, sheet iron, etc.
• Customer service, verbal and written communication skills
• Arranges inventory into lots, writes accurate descriptions for lots, takes in frame & in focus pictures of lots, accurately labels lots
• Performs all other functions of duties as requested by a supervisor/manager 8/19/2026 - Replaces all previously published versions.
