Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic PM/Weekend Shift Manager to oversee operations during weekend hours and weekday evening shifts. You would be working in tandem with our general manager to make sure all daily tasks are completed in preparation for the next day. You would be expected to perform all regular team member duties and in addition, you would oversee the weekday and weekend team members when the owner or general manager are not on duty. We are looking for someone with flexible availability and who would be able to step in last minute if someone calls off. We are looking for someone who can learn quickly and is self-motivated to learn, work hard and notice things that need to be done. We want someone who listens and takes direction well. You would start out training as a team member (at $14 per hour) and once trained, we will be looking to see if you have the qualifications to be a shift manager at $16 per hour. All team members and managers share tips that always average about $3-$4 extra per hour.

Requirements:

You MUST already be living in the Wausau Wisconsin area! Must have a friendly personality! We smile and greet every customer as they walk through the door. Family friendly personality required. Must be able to work a variety of shifts, mainly weekday pm shifts (2:30 or 3pm-7pm or 8pm) and weekends . Previous management/shift management experience required Customer service experience required Must be available around Thanksgiving and during the Christmas/Holiday season and for the 2027 summer season. These are our busiest times!

Team Member Job Duties:

Greet customers Help customers select chocolates by telling them all about our imported chocolate items. Scoop gelato Assist baristas with warming up, packaging and serving baked goods Serve drinks as needed Assist baristas by keeping their work station stocked and clean during busy times Make smoothies and chocolate fondue platters Clean tables and help with dishes all opening and closing duties (depending on shift worked) re-stock all supplies, inventory and product on shelves Other Job Duties (PM/Weekend manager would also do all of these duties as well, once trained): Use the POS system and take orders Work as a barista Inventory management Chocolate packaging-package bulk items in our own logo bags/boxes Corporate order prep What we offer: A fun team and comfortable work environment Small, family-owned business...no corporate headaches! 20% employee discount Opportunity for growth Shared tips with all team members (typically an additional $3 per hour for each team member)
