Job Description

IMMEDIATE HIRING
  • Coast Personnel Services is in partnership with local food manufacture to recruit and hire all personnel for the newly built air condition facility in the west valley. Employment is long term with opportunity to rollover. Currently the facility is running two shifts
  • AM:
    7:00
  • 3:30 and PM 3:30
  • 12:00a.m. With occasional shifts of 6:00a.m
  • 4:30. The work is Monday
  • Friday.

Do you want to know more please give Wendy Estrada a call for details and additional information (209) 272-5550 Responsible for packaging of the manufactured food product with the use of machinery and placing filled boxes in the appropriate pallet. Once boxes have been accounted for on the pallet, production worker will pull filled pallet and properly place it in its local on the production floor with electric pallet jack and moved to assigned location.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following.
Operation of the weigh-pack machine:
Requires standing at all times. The employee (operator) ensures all product is properly being processed in accordance to digitally programmed codes. Production worker may provide assistance to the operator in the form of placing boxes underneath receiving funnel, replacing filled box, taping box and coding box before placing on pallet Sealing and boxing: While standing, once the weigh-pack reaches product weight, the employee seals the box. Writes the code number for product box and then places on pallet. The employee must be able to lift flour bags up to 50 lbs and or sealed boxes weighting up to 35 lbs.
Checking product:
While standing, the employee will require the use of both hands to inspect product.
Documentation:
When assigned ensure appropriate product information is written in the required production document(s). Ensure all appropriate PPE (hairnet, beard net, smock, foot cover slippers) are worn at all times while in production area. Other duties may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs in a safe manner when lifting material weighting up to 50lbs Good manual dexterity and eye coordination is a plus Previous working experience in a fast pace food production environment is a plus Ability to work in a fast pace environment Working knowledge of floor jacks
  • electric and or manual is a plus Production packing, labeling and palletizing products is a plus The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Must maintain work area clean at all times. EDUCATION and
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Some High school or GED preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) capabilities are a plus.
