Job Description
We are looking for two (2) Food Production Cooks and one (1) Sanitation Associate Ideal candidate must:

- Be able to lift 50 lbs.

- Good time management We are a growing food manufacturing company located in Ojai, California.
Food Production Cook Responsibilities:
Prepare workstation for baking Prepare products according to recipes and production specifications Accurately weigh out and prepare ingredients Combine measured ingredients into mixers Prepare and fill baking sheets Records amounts prepared and leftover waste Operate equipment such as ovens, mixers, dehydrators Completes work assignments in a timely manner Maintains high standards of food quality and appearance Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation Follows standard procedures for cleaning equipment, utensils, and work area Follows procedures to maintain effective insect and rodent control Maintains high standards of personal hygiene Follows hand washing protocol Practices appropriate standards of dress, including shirts with sleeves, closed toe shoes, hair restraint, apron, and wearing of single use gloves when handling food Operates all equipment according to manufacturer's directions with emphasis given to safety guidelines Performs all other duties as assignedSanitation Associate Responsibilities:
Wash all dirty dehydration trays Wash, rinse and sanitize all dirty buckets, dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment Wipe off all tray carts including the tray tracks and the top and bottom supports Wipe down and clean and sanitize all sinks at the end of the day Sweep floor in the dishwasher area, around and under the Decarbonator, along the baseboards and under tables, racks and carts. Clean and sanitize all sprouting containers, remove & sanitize the water sprouts. (See procedures) Clean all debris out of all floor drains and wash with soap and water Keep floor free of standing water Use floor mats and rinse and lay them on top of the mat cart at the end of the day All screens available to be cleaned must be cleaned. Utilize "slippery floor signs" in dishwashing area when water is on the floor Empty facility trash cans and the large trash container (when full) Keep area organized Performs weekly and monthly sanitation, and all other duties as assignedJob Type:
