DEPARTMENT

TASTING ROOM Danza del Sol Winery, located on the De Portola Wine Trail, is looking for the right candidate to join our tasting room staff.

Duties will include:

Greeting guests in a friendly, professional manner Conducting wine tastings that are educational and fun Promoting the winery and selling wine Maintaining a strong rapport with wine club members and signing up new members Handling routine Point of Sale transactions Assisting with daily opening and closing duties Stocking of wine and retail items, maintaining an organized work station Tasting Room upkeep Smiling regularly

Qualifications:

A positive and professional attitude A minimum of two years' experience in customer service A minimum of one year experience in sales Enjoys working in a team environment Ability to reach and exceed company sales goals Personal interest in wine and/or previous wine knowledge is a plus

Physical Requirements:

Must be 21 years of age or older Must be able to lift heavy objects (40-50 pounds) on a regular basis Must be able to stand for extended periods Compensation starts at $16.50 per hour, with additional earning potential through commission and tips. Part-time positions available only, 10-18 hours per week. Weekends, holidays and occasional evenings are mandatory. This is a sales position.
