Job Description:
As this is a new position, we will keep the description open and will add and subtract duties as necessary. The employee will provide warm hospitality to tenants and guests while driving sales revenue.

This is a part time position that is staffed Tuesday-Friday from 7:00am to 12:00
PM Requirements:
Be over the age of21+, TIPS Certification, Food Handler Certification, Basic Barista Experience is required Forte is expanding! We're open Monday-Friday from 7 AM-6 PM, with weekly evening and weekend private events. The Forte Café and Lounge is a unique amenity space designed for building tenants and the surrounding community, featuring a full-service coffee shop, wine and beer bar, and event space. We do not have a kitchen—our food offerings are grab-and-go items sourced from local purveyors. The space is designed for both productivity and relaxation, with areas for solo or group work, meetings in conference rooms, and after-work activities like shuffleboard, pool, or ping-pong. Guests can also enjoy a drink before heading to a game or event. Forte serves as a hub for its buildings, offering concierge-style services such as booking conference rooms, organizing fitness classes, planning private events, and providing daily essentials for tenants. We start the day with full-service coffee and pastries, transition into afternoons with wine tastings, local beer on tap, charcuterie, and host a variety of private events. Work with the Manager to promote new ideas to increase monthly sales and improve On-Site Events. Assist Owner with special projects as assigned including events. Helps do monthly inventory with management. Greets guests and guides them through a wine tasting experience. Promote the sale of coffee, wine, non-wine merchandise, and the Wine Club. Describe wines, winemaking techniques and winery history. Promote Club membership and private events. Provide general tourist and building information. Handle routine transactions, which includes operating cash registers and accounting for daily till summaries. Perform close-of-day procedures, which includes locking the facility, reconciling poured wines and beers, counting cash and balancing registers, ensuring that daily duties and closing checklists are properly followed. Maintain supply of clean glasses and dishes, washing and drying racks of glasses throughout the day. Maintain stock of supplies and keep track of what is needed. This includes bags, coffee supplies, wine and beer supplies, usable coffee and event supplies. General housekeeping responsibilities, which includes cleaning work area, wiping counters, dusting, etc. Assist with other duties as necessary.
