One Shift Day Shift:

Hiring Full time position 40 hours/week (5 days/week M-F) between the hours of 8:30am to 6pm (with staggered start & break times), preferably with the potential to work overtime 40+ hours/week and Saturdays from time-to-time, based on seasonal company volumes. Essential Responsibilities for this

Position:

• To plan, prepare, move and document required craft coffee to exacting specifications with high level attention to detail and precision in documenting recipes and lot tracking activities
• Stage & load daily green coffee to meet daily production schedules for primary roasters. o Ability to lift/Move 152Lb Bags repetitively
• Assist in the upkeep of roasting equipment: perform daily & weekly preventative maintenance activities
• Learn the art and craft of roasting coffee in a production manufacturing environment.
• Log batches, record roasting data and perform QA/QC protocols both on physical sheets and within systems electronically.
• Perform general warehouse duties including stocking, cleaning, maintenance, and other tasks as assigned
• Assist in the cupping of coffees
• Assist with inventory counts as needed
• Participate in team and/or staff meetings

Qualifications:

A desire and passion to work and learn the gourmet coffee and tea industry Fluency in English, bilingual in Spanish preferred not mandatory High school diploma, GED or higher Basic Math, English and Computer skills required to perform job at all times Familiar with Food, Quality & Safety principles & certifications like HACCP, GMPs, SOPs, USDA Organic Previous experience in coffee or food/beverage handling experience preferred Forklift driver certification or ability to learn Must work well independently and as part of a team Ability to solve problems and attention to detail required Ability to communicate effectively and in a timely manner Be a self-starter, reliable and have an attention to detail Show up to work every day on time and ready to work Ability to pass a background check Authorized to work in the
