This job will include: packaging of cans and kegs, cleaning kegs, moving kegs, cleaning and sanitizing tanks and transfer lines, taking measurements with provided Anton Paar equipment, keeping accurate records on paper and in our software, milling grain, working events outside of the brewery, and mostly importantly- general cleaning. Brewing the second half of a double brew will hopefully also be taken over by the cellerperson/assistant, but is subject to training and approval. Berthoud Brewing is a very small company, I'm looking for someone who is knowledgable in brewery cellar practices and might also be looking to become an assistant brewer. This is not a guaranteed full time position, but we are growing rapidly, so full time is a possibility. The schedule is changing constantly, so being available Monday through Friday is a must. It is an hourly position, but our processes are extremely efficient and we are looking to keep that standard.

Must have:

reliable transportation, availability Monday-Friday (including as early as 8am for canning days and as late as 10 or 11 pm for double brew days), attention to detail, basic understanding of plumbing/fluid physics, ability to take direction, ability to problem solve, ability to multitask. Must be at least 21 years of age
