We are seeking a Cheese Specialist / Cheesemonger who shares our passion for fine food, luxury service, and building lasting relationships with discerning customers. The Role We are looking for a passionate Cheesemonger / Cheese Specialist to manage our retail cheese counter, guide customer selections, and care for our curated collection of artisanal cheeses. Key Responsibilities
  • Cut, portion, and care for whole wheels and aged cheeses with minimal waste.
  • Maintain cheese case displays, catering platters, and tasting stations.
  • Educate customers on cheese origins, flavor profiles, and beverage pairings.
  • Manage inventory, monitor temperature/humidity logs, and ensure strict FIFO rotation.
  • Maintain clean, food-safe work areas in accordance with raw-milk and safety standards. Requirements
  • Fluent English (Spanish, French, or Italian is a plus).
  • Hands-on cheesemongering, deli, or specialty food experience.
  • Knowledge of European cheese varieties, milk types, and regional styles.
  • Experience operating cheese tools (wires, knives, scales, vacuum sealers).
  • Ability to stand full shifts, lift up to 40 lbs, and work in refrigerated environments. Preferred Qualifications
  • Affinage / cheese cave experience.
  • ACS Certified Cheese Professional, Guildes des Fromagers, or WSET certification. Schedule & Location
  • Full-Time | In-Person (MiMo District, Miami, FL)
  • 8-hour shifts within store hours (Mon-Sat 9 AM-8 PM, Sun 10 AM-6 PM). Weekend and holiday availability required. Benefits
