Job Description

Harvest Processor (Swing Shift) (105792) A local manufacturing company in Kona is seeking a Swing shift Harvest Processor to join their team. You will be responsible for processing spirulina and astaxanthin and maintaining all processing equipment and systems. The ideal candidate is flexible to work weekends and weekdays, and is comfortable with a later shift. Qualified candidates will have 1 year of work experience and strong mechanical abilities. Apply today for immediate consideration! Hours Full-time, Varying days including weekends. Swing Shift- 2:00pm-10:30pm Location Kailua-Kona, Big Island Pay $21 an hour Responsibilities Review processing logs in order to monitor the current condition of the system. Control and observe harvest and return plumbing systems. Ensure the quality and efficiency of the processing system meets standards and implement changes if needed. Box and package finished product. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times. Follow proper procedures for starting up, shutting down, and cleaning of processing equipment. Conduct regular equipment maintenance. Perform other duties as required. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Minimum 1 year of work experience. Production facility experience preferred. Must have a valid driver's license. Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills. Strong analytical, time management, and organizational skills. Strong mechanical abilities. Able to lift up to 50 lbs. Able to work both indoors and outdoors. Flexibility to work a variety of different shifts, including weekend shifts. Must pass a pre-employment drug test and state and federal background check.
