Job Summary We're seeking motivated General Laborers to join the JR Simplot Idaho Plant team full time or on a project basis. These positions exist to support operations of the plant. Day-to-day duties will be handed down from plant supervisors. Duties include but not limited to product inspection, packaging assistance, and maintaining a clean workspace. Most positions will require 36lbs lifting requirement. This is an excellent opportunity for flexible, hands-on work with competitive pay and shift differentials for nights. Key Responsibilities Assist in packaging and preparing products for shipment. Repackaging (strip out of finished product for repackaging into different size containers) Clean-up, sanitation and general housekeeping of work areas Product inspection for foreign materials and quality standards Small batch production support, set-up and tear-down of processing equipment Documentation requirements for some processes Requirements Desire and ability to maintain full-time work schedule. Ability to adhere to company standards regarding performance, attendance, personal grooming standards, sanitation, food safety and quality. Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team. Comfortable standing for extended periods in a hot/cool, industrial environment. Ability to lift up to 36lbs repeatedly throughout the shift. No prior experience required—training provided! Driver's License required. Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen Why Join Us?
