In person About the Opportunity Windy City Organics is looking for dependable, hardworking individuals to join our growing production team in Northbrook. As a Production Associate, you'll work as part of our manufacturing team to help produce, package, label, and prepare a variety of products. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys staying active, working with a team, and taking pride in producing high-quality products. Previous manufacturing or production experience is helpful, but not required. We're willing to train reliable individuals who are ready to learn and grow with our team. What You'll Do Assist with daily production, manufacturing, and packaging activities. Operate production and packaging equipment safely and efficiently. Prepare ingredients, components, packaging, and other materials needed for production. Follow production specifications, instructions, and established processes. Fill, package, label, seal, and case-pack finished products. Inspect products throughout the production process to ensure quality standards are met. Monitor equipment and report any production or quality issues. Assist with equipment setup, changeovers, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary production environment. Follow all food safety, sanitation, quality, and workplace safety procedures. Accurately complete production tasks according to daily schedules and priorities. Work closely with other production team members to meet daily production goals. Perform other production-related duties as needed. What We're Looking For Dependable and reliable with a strong work ethic. Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment. Strong attention to detail and quality. Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and production specifications. Willingness to learn how to operate production and packaging equipment. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Flexible and willing to assist with different production tasks as needed. Previous manufacturing, food production, packaging, filling, or machine operation experience is a plus, but not required. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods. Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. Ability to perform repetitive tasks including filling, packing, labeling, lifting, and handling products. Ability to safely work around manufacturing and packaging equipment.
