Shift:
7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Rotating schedule We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Blender Operator to join our dynamic food production team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating blending machinery to create consistent, high-quality food products while adhering to strict safety and sanitation standards. Your expertise in food processing, mechanical troubleshooting, and equipment operation will ensure efficient production workflows and compliance with all regulatory requirements. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced manufacturing environment dedicated to excellence in food quality and safety. Duties Operate blending machines and related equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring optimal product consistency and quality. Follow manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and food safety protocols, including HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) guidelines. Conduct routine inspections of machinery for mechanical issues, troubleshooting problems promptly to minimize downtime. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment in compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and sanitation standards. Handle raw materials and finished products using proper manual handling techniques, including heavy lifting when necessary. Monitor production processes, record data accurately, and report any deviations or safety concerns immediately. Use material handling equipment such as forklifts safely for moving ingredients or finished products, adhering to all safety protocols. Experience Previous experience in food production, manufacturing, or a restaurant/kitchen environment is highly desirable. Familiarity with machine operation, mechanical troubleshooting, and basic math skills for measurements and recipe adjustments. Knowledge of safety standards in production environments, including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) use and safety protocol adherence. Hands-on experience with food handling, processing, baking, or culinary tasks is a plus. Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts safely; certification is preferred but not required. Understanding of regulatory/legal compliance standards in food manufacturing such as HACCP, GMP, and food safety management systems. Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently while maintaining high quality standards. Pay:
$21.00 - $21.50 per hour
