Cellar Operator - Boston Brewery Barrel One Collective (B1C) | Boston, MA Full-Time | Non-Exempt Barrel One Collective, home to leading craft beer brands including Harpoon, is hiring an experienced Cellar Operator to join our Boston production brewery team. This role supports brewhouse operations, fermentation management, filtration, and quality control in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. If you have professional brewing experience and are passionate about producing high-quality craft beer at scale, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities Execute brewhouse operations including milling, hop additions, and wort production Perform CIP/CUP and sanitation of fermenters, brite tanks, and transfer lines Manage yeast handling, pitching, cell counts, dry hopping, and gravity readings Operate filtration systems and support pilot brewing Monitor turbidity, CO₂, and O₂ levels to meet product specifications Maintain accurate production documentation and logs Support packaging and cross-functional production teams Maintain safe, clean, and organized workspaces Qualifications 2+ years brewing or beverage manufacturing experience Strong knowledge of fermentation, sanitation, and filtration processes Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to work varied shifts in a production environment Forklift certification a plus Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Physical Requirements Lift up to 50 lbs Work around moving machinery Stand for extended periods Comfortable in temperature-variable brewery environments Ready to Brew at Scale?
